Yep, timing belts cost cica £1000 to get done
Fast as fook though, and the brake set up is very nickable for the vauxhalls _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

Engine out jobbies, IIRC.
My mate had one, and it could stay with the Cally Turbo easily enough.
It was slightly faster I think, he was a shite driver though. Nice lay out inside, Pulled like a freight train, not so good mid range as the Let though.
I am no Jeremy Clarkson though so don't take this as gospel _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

problem with these cars is you goy to take the engine out to change the belt, another problem is the front brake calipers need atention quite a bit and a lot of garages wont touch these cars due to the hassle of working on them they do go well though _________________

I have one. Timing belt costs are a complete myth. Taking it to PowerFiat in Essex will set you back £399.99+ vat, not the £000's people assume it costs (though it will do if you take it to Fiat )
Silly power through the front wheels means tyres can get costly - but even a tuned one like mine has had very few problems.
Not heard about any overheating unless they've had coolent/rad faults. |
