Car troubles....and a BIG big up.

Well a few of you guys knwo on here that I have recently had a few car problems. I noticed the other day that the car was marking much more of it terrortory than usual (leaking oil), actually it was fookin chucking the stuff out.

'Oh no' thinks Jay, that's last Evo race fooked it. Imagining images of holes in the block or burst turbo oil feeds etc...

I decided after work to dump in a litre of oil and take it to a professional. In fact, Dene off this board. I don't think I have ever driven the car off boost for so long before, anyway I managed to get it to his garage.

The following day, not only did he manage to strip it down and identify a dody oil pump gasket (and those of you in the know will appreciate that this is a fookin horrible job) but then proceeded the next day to clean everything up, take out and check the oil pump, fit up the new gaskets, replace all the timing kit back and time it all up cock on. Everything has been done to the car, he even fixed up the dodgy exhaust connections that I had.

Bet that cost, I hear you say.

Nope Dene did all this off his own back, in his own time and for free.

Absolute credit to the club, and a fookin good mate too.
