Retro Mania - The Weekend Festival for all Retro Cars, Classics & Performance Classics

Held in the 1,000 acre grounds of Weston Park, Shropshire and venue of the ‘V’ Festival, this venue makes for a great setting bringing together great cars for you all to enjoy. The Show is open to all European, Japanese & American vehicles from the late 60’s up until the early 90’s

So whether you have a retro styled MK1 Golf, a completely stock MK2 Escort or an early Vauxhall with something a bit different under the bonnet, then why not bring it along and be part of the show!

It was nice to meet a few old faces along with a couple of new ones.
Dylkadett and myself met up with Wheelybigcheese and Brightspark to drive the last 50 miles in 2 mk1's. Nice to meet Andydeg who didn't think his car was ready for a show ( my ARSE) it's beautifu!

on arriving at the show I was promptly groped by bighed, pity his Sharona could make it but he arrived in style in a gorgeous mk2 Cav sorry no pic.

The weather was a bit crap with showers all day but we made the most of it. It took ages to cook a couple of burgers and sausages in the rain.
We had to improvise since I didn't bring anything to protect the grass
embarrassment

These two soft gits (wheely big cheese and Brightspark) turn up in t-shirts and sat there with stiff nips all day!

We sat had a laugh and tried to ignore the weather, unfortunately I saw a little too much of Bright spark whilst overtaking them on the wat home, "What has been seen, cannot be unseen!"
Just before we left the show, a nice young lad came up to us for a chat and ended up singing to us whilst he played music on his phone. Only then did we realise he was special needs. Fair play to him he loved cars and would have talked all day about them.
He had a sit in my car and I ended up threatening to run him over when he told me he could hot-wire !

This is another special person (bright spark)

Anyway nice to meet people again see you all soon
