Phoning insurance up tomorrow
Any one know what will happen? Like how they'll work out how much to pay etc?
Is it based on what they find them forsale at etc _________________ 1983 5dr project 1.4Ti in china blue

did you get agreed value before? or what did you say it was worth?
tbh if you using a 'normal' insurance company they will see it as worthless and offer something stupid like £100. _________________ WANTED - Big Block Legs, GTE Engine Mounts |

Footman and James classic policy £500 but my dad said they have to look around aswell, there is a self valuation form that came with the insurance ten days ago for me to fill in
On the insunce it says agreed value "not agreed" Or not applicable I think _________________ 1983 5dr project 1.4Ti in china blue

if youve got no agreed value then they in my experience they go on market value from one fo the guides (glass' etc)
if you disagree you then have to provide evidence that its worth what you think it is, i/e ebay sales (they have used that one on me in the past) autotrader that sort of thing.
was it insured legally with all mods declared and where they included on the documents they sent you that they are covered? _________________ www.aquariushi.co.uk

Wasn't there an estate on eBay for something like £4k recently? _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

you will need advert to get your case up, as jon said his was advertised at £2k, plus the £4k hatch (use it just shows how collectable they are).
use the over price turbo thats always come up the red one, plus the shotter ad.
I had to do this for my old nova years ago. _________________ WANTED - Big Block Legs, GTE Engine Mounts |

as above they go by galss's guide etc but then you argue it up with proof. I did this with my cav turbo a good few years ago when they wanted to write it off and offered 1200. off i went to migweb and the trader and they then re-valued it at 4.5k and didnt write it off and completed the repairs. _________________
