Well, was good to meet lots of people from the club and be able to put names to faces!
I managed to get a bit sunburnt as I always do...
Need lots of pics though so that we can update the gallery etc...
And God, I so wanna get on with my MK1 now!! Making a list of what I need to get/do... not too much really!! But doubt I'll make it in time for Retro Cars, as I'm doing Glastonbury which will take up a valuable weekend and also knacker me out. _________________ 4x4 Turbo MK1 Astra - may actually be finished this year!

Yep it really was a great weekend witha great bunch of blokes (and lasses)
It was a good turn out as well, we really do have some cracking cars in the club, they're a real credit to you all.
So for those of you that couldn't make it to PVS, we're planning on going back to POD on Sunday July 3rd for the Retro Cars Show.
So if you've still got work to do on your MK1's get cracking lads and try to get to this show. Our stand was buzzing with people by early afternoon proving just how popular our cars are so let's see how many we can get to this one.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the guy we invited to park on our stand. He had a completely original red MK1 GTE, looking a bit tired but a really good example of a standard car. Anyway, we got chatting to him and he comes from Sussex way, but here's the shocker......... this guy has got 9 MK1's!! 8 GTE's and a 1.6SR. Now that's gotta be some sort of record!! _________________

I also met one guy who had the Black GTE over the other side of the strip and had a chat with him whilst i was waiting to run.
He poped over and had a look around the stand and i told him all about the club and the forum.
Fingers X he might have a look.
Think that we should try and get some cards of flyers made advertising the club so that if people ask then we have got something to give them so thay know where to look.
Just an idea _________________

Definitely AJ. I had lots of people approach me wanting info so some flyers would be great.
I'll get on to it _________________
