I had to stop reading it after the first page as my piss was beginning to boil.

It's disgusting. The owner even threatened to head butt the poor lad when he had a moan. |

It might only be a nove but it was mint very pretty and almost irreplaceable.
I think I'd be in jail by now.
The guy shoukd be de for TWOC IMHO. It's an MOT, an MOT doesn't require a road test. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

I work in the industry and ive never heard anything like this happening. its absolutly discusting.
In my opinion never leave a car you love with a test station, always stay with the car. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

One man's rustbucket is another's pride & joy.
I quite like Novas as it happens. It doesn't matter what car this is, it should not have happened & the owner is understandably very upset.
A test drive is not a part of the MOT but scrapes & bumps in a garage's car park are inevitable although hopefully very rare. You would think the guilty party would be apologetic & do their best to put things right? |

I took my old 280 capri (yes i know ), for a full gearbox service once, anyway they used it at dinner time to get their dinner for the lads. My friend saw them shooting through town. Wasn't until I picked it up, that I saw the cig lighter had been used and the tapes on the floor. Complete joke. |

I dont think the insurance would fix it so I would let them write it off then buy it back for pennies. |

As I inferred earlier, it should not matter what car it is.
After a gearbox service/repair, I would consider a short test-drive around the block to be reasonable. Anything else is taking the P, including smoking in someone else's car or shuffling through your music collection. |

first off words fail me with this, you hear stories of peoples cars being abused on road tests but surly you've got to be a complete f#@k wit to do it with a car that is pretty damn hard to replace, also if it was in for a mot only what the hell was it doing out on a road test? arnt mot's all in house _________________

I heard a story years ago of a lad who work a charlie browns off the east lancs a580, which their boss left his car there, which was a jalpa (which i never heard of at the time), which they took up the a580 to see how fast it could go.
Just makes you think of what some people think about your belongings. Do they still do test drives with mot's. |
