I have a proper soft spot for mk2's, I've tried putting the side strips back on one before and it was a complete sod to try and get them straight, as they always stretch a little out of shape when removed. _________________

It looks good without the side strips. Knowing you you'll get some new if your putting them back on. The car looks worth it. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

Think new would be very hard to find although I did see a new set sell for £200 on the MK2 Forum recently |

It was about 15mm high and stuck out about 20mm
It looked sh$t but it stopped you twitting other people's cars. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."
