Out all day Yesterday in my new Toy even managed to get the Wife & Daughter to go for a Drive down the Coast in it without them wearing bags over their heads laughing

I have a proper soft spot for mk2's, I've tried putting the side strips back on one before and it was a complete sod to try and get them straight, as they always stretch a little out of shape when removed.

It looks good without the side strips. Knowing you you'll get some new if your putting them back on. The car looks worth it.

Think new would be very hard to find although I did see a new set sell for £200 on the MK2 Forum recently Shocked

didnt think the GTE had rub strips? thought it was just every other model but i am no mk2 expert

deffo looks good as it is

bugger it was that thin one that runs along the swag line that will be hard to get right good luck

It was about 15mm high and stuck out about 20mm

It looked sh$t but it stopped you twitting other people's cars.
