If you want a decent mk1 it's sod's law that you usually have to travel a fair distance for them. I've travelled 600 miles round trips to get mk1's in the past.

Just got back from Jame's house this is one rock solid mk1 shell 
somebody buy it, if I had the room it would be in my garage now

Hi, just wanted to say - this is mine.
Collected it Sat - left at 07:30am and got home at 11:30pm.... humongous journey but well worth it.
Part stripped now already, body is totally amazing - I have had 9 Mk1's and none has come close to this, suspension mountings, steering rack mountings, bulkhead, floor to bulkhead all like new.... many posts to come soon.
Keepin it Mk1....

Yes, extremely clean and genuine - Can only find two patches on the rear sills.
Needs full sills (Have these)
Some work on the back corners
Very front edge of the wings
Outer edge of the headlights / Front panel and that is all I can find so far.
Worth the drive, money and effort.
Seller was a top bloke and real genuine.
