I went over and looked at this 1 on Sunday but I thought it needed a bit to much work for me and my £1000 wasn't enough |

A20 GTE and myself went to look at this a long time ago. A year or maybe 2 ago. We left it be as the old guy was wanting to much for it. It had some kind of fire in the back footwear an burnt all the carpet (probably from welding) we thought it was a fairly good 1 that just needed a little tlc.

I had a pretty good look round it don't get me wrong it was a good original car and I did bid him on it as I seen it had potential but my bid was no good.
As for the work I thought it needed without going to deep the roof lining was missing not a problem, the rear arches had been cut back and seem welded so needs arches that's why the arch kit had bolts through at the top, the new sills were folded plate and need changing, the bulkhead had gone around steering rack and the seems + bits of welding here and there and needs a respray. if you had to pay a garage to put it right it would cost a fortune.
No doubt it will be a great car and good look to the buyer hope to see it finished! |
