I'm pissed off waiting for spot-welder man to allow me to give him some money in return for the services he provides so I'm going to start welding the front-end up myself tonight.
Wish me luck!
I'll either have some nice progress pics or a link to the eBay add tomorrow. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

That is cool, however, it's the source that's the problem, to be able to spot weld the 2mm chassis and 0.8mm inner wing, you need a 32 amp socket. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

I'm going try some thicker wire tonight - the guys over on Mig-Welding say my welder and 0.6mm wire should be fine, but I'm not getting enough penetration on my test pieces so I can't start welding the fecking car. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

The wire I use is 0.8mm I find this the best, do you have enough power going to your unit? _________________
