I'm pissed off waiting for spot-welder man to allow me to give him some money in return for the services he provides so I'm going to start welding the front-end up myself tonight.

That is cool, however, it's the source that's the problem, to be able to spot weld the 2mm chassis and 0.8mm inner wing, you need a 32 amp socket. frown

I'm going try some thicker wire tonight - the guys over on Mig-Welding say my welder and 0.6mm wire should be fine, but I'm not getting enough penetration on my test pieces so I can't start welding the fecking car. frown

The wire I use is 0.8mm I find this the best, do you have enough power going to your unit?

I have a Clark mig welder did my Gte ok I used 0.6 wire not bad welders for the money.i saved a fortune doing it myself.
