Damn man, that just made my gte look easier to restore. Best of luck man, and in what I have learned till now here in mk1ok, anything can be saved metalwise, and I believe that even more now, since I saw DeadEye's resto thread Very Happy

found a new chassis rail
found a lower bulk head

just need 2x front inner arches/panels

im debating carrying it on myself, ive found a very clean gte shell that i might buy insted of pumping loads of money into this

You would probably regret carrying on with it half way through.

When you have rot as bad as that on the front chassis legs there must be some serious rot elsewhere especially the rear chassis legs and inner sills.

yes its real bad,

but after all that the shell sold, so ive taken that as an omen to continue with getting on and buying the repair panels.
