I'm going to be making a start on the gte soon, thought I would get a thread going so I can keep you all updated

The car as it is:

The plan is to convert it to rwd with a turbo motor.
There's going to be lots of fabrication work on this build.

The car has now been stripped of all parts and is just about ready to go under the knife!

Started building the jig ready to start building the frame work for the Astra underpinnings.

This is the finished jig ready to mount the 200sx subframes to the length of astras wheel base,
All 8 legs have hight adjusters so I can set the bed perfectly level.

Been playing with ideas for the rear end support for cage triangulation and subframe support. This is where im at at the moment.

The program is use in not the best so you will have to imagine the multi section joint as a turrel top!

Should be picking up the engine and donor s14 200sx this week so the major work can start.
