| Hi guys just recently purchased a mk1 Astra which I have been trying to buy from its previous owner for years it was first registered on the 4 th June 1980 on a v reg could this possibly be one of the earliest Vauxhall Astras left? |

Most definately , my first ever mk1 was a 1980 V plate (I bought it in 1989!!!!) , not seen another for years
