Cheers Jon mate, going to be cleaning and painting the running gear while the shell is away, these gt4 s have quite a few bushes front and rear, so we will be having fun removing them all
Once she is painted we will be going all out to get it back together and motd before the gritters are out, (that is the plan as i want to drive it before the salty roads) !
Will put some pics up |

Cheers for the positive comments, we are doing as much as we can with what we have.
Sent the bottom arms for re conditioning,
Recieved most of the rear poly bushes friday, will be fitting them once i get the 6x arms and subframes back,
Also getting the diff painted so will look like new,
Need to get some coilovers as well, ive seen some TEIN ones im fancying.Top quality from Japan.
Probably going to have it all ready before the shell is back from its 1st dip, as once all the welds and small repairs are done it will be going back for re dipping and electro priming
Will put some pictures up when ive done a bit more. |

A few pictures of the diff after a repaint.
Got the shell back today.
It looks well, we now need to clean all the welds up and sort any bits we missed. Got all the subframes and cross members painted ready. Will have the shell primed shortly all being well. |

Cheers Jon mate, Cant wait to start putting it together after paint, We need to work fast, to get it back for priming, as the acid dipping place is moving their paint operation and are shutting down to move, and set back up in january 2017 !!!!!!
When i collected michelle, the guy said "will we see you next year now"
I was like "No should be a week or so, we are trying to get it done as fast as possible" ?
The worst thing on a build is waiting for other people to do something i cant !
Even though we have cracked on, time has been lost which we had no control of.
So we should be further on at this stage, but i cant complain
Will put some more pics up as and when. |
