Not what you were expecting?
Well, not sure if any of you caught site of my wings at PVS but they we replaced by the previous owner a few years ago (have the receipt somewhere, but not checked how long it actually is) and the paint job and panel prep was rather nasty and left too much to be desired so i decided to have a pop at sorting it myself. Now this isnt a task i've taken lightly but unfortunately my first attemp will be with rattle cans.
Now i'm writing this after i've done the work and the following pics are the progress of panel prep. The finished job isnt great just yet but i'll give the paint/panel a week or so to settle and i'm going to attack it with some G3 rubbing compound and see how it looks, no matter what i did i just couldn't seem to get a pleasent smooth finish to the wing but i felt confident that after a few coats of filler primer then primers it would be smooth ........ it's smoother but not perfect.

That's a good point actually, can't we have an 'Adults only' section of Mk1OC.com??
You can tell it's summer again. It's rutting season.
