Just like to say hi, been over a year since I was on these (or the old) boards. I like what you have done with the place Very Happy

. Going to get myself paid up once I sort paypal out.

oh and btw quick question, which radiator do people use for XE transplants when your mk1 is not a GTE (mine was a 1300) as mine runs on the warm side of very hot ..

Mine still uses the 1300 rad and it runs a bit hotter than i would like but that is how i bought the car so going to try and get the xe rad in sometime. You could try getting some heat wrap for the exhaust manifold as well can sometimes make quite a differance to the under bonnet temperature.

U be better off with a gte rad, but u need to make a/move oe 1300 mount for one side of the rad....5 min job with a welder.

any old 80's vauxhall rad from a car with an engine size over 1.8 should be more than enough.
