|
|
Any questions or comments no matter how bizarre just fire away .
Right I'm thinking about doing a deal on my Cavalier Turbo for a Mk1 .
Needs to be an Xe realy as I need some power
My Turbo has had a full engine rebuild about 7k ago now and has got arp rod bolts put in while it was being done .
It's not the best example out there as it has no leather and no 4x4 as yet although I do have a prop in the shed but needs a new transfer box .
At some point it has had a slight whack from behind and the rear panel is a bit dented but it is hidden by the bumper .
It has no rust realy and has got origonal arches and chassis rails .
Current mods :
Phase 2 EDS .
Courtenay uprated actuator .
NGK Iridium spark plugs .
3.5 bar pressure reg .
Full Scorpion system inc de-cat .
Koni top adjustables .
Boost set at 12-13 psi .
Koni top adjustable suspension kit .
Drilled and grooved front discs . |

No sorry Dave I can't be doing with parts and cars in bits everywhere .
If I still lived at my own place it would be a possibility . |

Never seen a mk1 in Clacton for ages let alone a turbo'd one .
I don't have 3 and a half k but would be interested in seeing a mk1 that is worth that much locally .
So where do you hide it then ?

If you are running Phase 2 you NEED an uprated intercooler or a charge cooler. _________________ throw away the chicken sh$t gun, you don't just want to pull the trigger, you want to put the knife in me. |

Well sort of...
...Jay is still running P2 with a std intercooler and that still flys, although it is recomended for one to be fitted. _________________ Nurburgring - Not for girls |

Yeah it doesn't really release the power like it should without one, still it's quicker than a Subaru STi so I'm not one to complain..... _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

It's about charge temperature though. Living in Huddesfield though it's probably always bastard freezing. _________________ throw away the chicken sh$t gun, you don't just want to pull the trigger, you want to put the knife in me. |
