Lee, the cbr is probably not what you want after just passing your test. Its a grey import and unrestricted. It goes like stink when running but currently needs a new cdi unit. That good old voltage regulator failure did a bit damage to the CDI.
I would however recomend a Kawasaki 550 zephyr for your 1st year (it gets the insurance down) . I use one daily to London and it does everything that the new rider tends to forget. It is the most forgiving bike that I have ever ridden (although the CBR comes close). A Zephyr fully comp with full business use for me at a mere 42yrs of age is £120. Thats with a company called Wicked Quotes (online or speak to Mark Carlisle by phone) they won hands down over every other company I tried, being a new rider myself. Zephyrs are fairly few and far between but are out there if you are patient.
I need to find a buyer who will use it more as trackday than everyday.

Yeah after a little research I found out that is not the bike for me. I do know someone who is interested in it as a track bike though so a few more details i.e mileage, condition etc would be handy
