Hi guys,just saying hello as iv just recently joined the mk1oc and im impressed with the site,it looks great! 
Ive had plenty of experience with mk1's,my present being my 6th.....but there is still so much i can learn about these great cars and judging by the knowledge from some of you guys on here this is the best place to look for it!
My mk1's have ranged from a metallic green sr through a few red and white Gte's,one of them was a perfect black example and the others not so perfect but enjoyable cars through to my present pride and joy which is an unfinished redtop powered 2-door Kadett!
P.S. yes it was the one which was recently on ebay which im very happy to say is not for sale now due to an injection of family funds and motivation which should see it finished at last! |

Welcome aboard mate. Sounds like you're hooked on Mk1s then! Got any pics of the ones you've owned, just for interest's sake?
I'm sure others will be along to welcome you too in a while, but most people are at Santa Pod today for Retro Cars Show, so it's bound to be a bit quiet on here today!

i also am a new member and find the site and members very helpful.
i should be at santapod today meeting some off the members but have lost my cash point card and cant get funds out 
nevermind there will be other events
