well.for those who didnt go or forgot it was on.........dont worry u didnt miss much

i drove 3 fooking hrs to get there,and there was jack sh$t really

they had the noavarallye rolling road,which i saw a mk2 belmont.........when he screwed the bollox off it it sounded sweeeeeeeet, and a 3l monza which came out with 122bhp but thats all i saw

as for spares, there were shitloads for cav and callys etc or loadsa original parts but unless u had a parts manual to proove what was what-u were screwed

thought id come up trumps,on the first stand i saw there was a rear qtr....but it was a 4dr so i was pissed off straight away

JAY--- no ventura bits apart from a headlamp that had seen better days

Yeah I went and did a little bit better, picked up a couple of Mk2 cav elecy mirrors (they'll soon be converted to suit a Mk1 soon if anyones interested), got lamps for my cally, a huge Mk1 astra works manual including the 1.8 engine, and managed to locate some microfiche which might be useful if I can get a reader.

As for Mk1s I saw a 1.6GL 5dr in light blue for sale, a red GTE with clear indicators and, from a distance, a mint looking 5dr also in blue

There were little bits here and there and the odd bargain (cheaper than fleabay) but wouldn't recommend it if you have some distance to go... unless you really wanted a LET engine asap or rough 17s for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£80
