i have got some magazines from 1983 and 1984 with some loon kicking 10 barrels of cack out of a brand spanking new mk1 gte in red, and apparently the brakes are fantastic ! the reg is GTM316Y anyone know if this one is still alive or did the idiot kill it?
also have a piece on a blydenstein astra mk1 dated april 1983. its brown with a grill that i haven't seen before along with new steering wheel, bodykit, different centre console and electric windows! in 1983 ! as standard! reg ART913Y .if anyone would like copies of these i wil get them scanned and sent by email.
also i have some microfiche for the mk1. i've got loads of odds and sods for and about the mk1 lying around if i find anything interesting i'll post it. |

It was around till 1999 but after that I dont know. I was just the other day talking to another member about this car. Do you have access to a scanner? Could you put scans up?

the electric window switches were fitted in the door pull handles, and they were illuminated and , for some strange reason, there were 2 switches on drivers and passengers side. the wheel apparently came from a porsche design from momo and was £114.50. |

I have been trying to get hold of the MK1 microfiche. Found 1 on Ebay but got outbid _________________ Is mine the only MK1 GTE in Australia????? |
