Right, the place you are staying has a pub called The Dog and Duck next to it, it's a beefeater pub, have had stuff there and it's not that good but seeing as it's right next door. There's a Pizza Hut across the road too. Tesco is also just across the road (the one we're all meeting at as it happens).
There are the normal pubs in the town which is about a mile walk but the poshest place is probably the Hind Hotel (apparently it housed Oliver Cromwell at some point)
Taxis aren't too bad, any other info you need just let me know |

I'll find out mate, got a friend with his own taxi company.
As for the food... I honestly don't know. Alot of the places use the same suppliers (I know, I used to work for one of the suppliers) and it really is down to the cook. |

steve can you post up some taxi numbers please i may need to use one two or three times and will they pick up from pod on saturday night and take me back there early on sunday morning.cheers m8 prices would be great too.
p.s does the number 0800 666666 work down your way for a local taxi company as i`m the registered company up here for that number.it apperantly works all over britain putting you through to the local taxi company but only one company per area code gets the privilidge of it.i`m just wondering. |
