Hiya Mate,
Did you ever sell this car?
Also did you manage to sort out the problems with it, if not would you sell the car as it is for £1200 cash?
Cheers

Hello, mine had a very similor problem when i got it, it had been standing for a year or so.
It would be a pig to start and would randomly cut out for no reason, then either start again or have non of it.

Tried every sensor and connection on the car and made no diffence, put on new plugs, leads, dizzy etc, still no joy.

Then i decided to clean up the coil, i took the black box off and cleaned up all the terminals, had corroded up like fook!.

Now runs like a deam and starts on the key Very Happy

dunno if this might help.

The car has now been sold.

The guy who bought it found it on here and hopefully will tell us all what the problem was once he gets it fixed.

Have you tried swapping back ECU's to the original? The one you have on there may be faulty.
