mornin' all.

Firstly I'd like to say this new site is looking pretty swissshh! Especially the colour theme, nicely done to all involved.

Secondly, yet another question from me.

Bought interior from Lee the other day (nice to meet you all by the way), rear seats were fine. But I'm having trouble with the fronts, they won't go in? I'm guessing the GTE has different frames to the 1.3? My original seats just slip into the runners, then bolt to the floor at the front. Whereas the GTE seats have 4 bolts both rear and back?

I can fetch some pictures this evening to make it easier to understand what I'm on about!

Maybe they are fixed on the lesser spec ones, but have a look at the bottom of both seats at the same time, you will beable to tell how its done, unless it can't be that is...

Well they don't fit straight on.
And I couldn't work out a way of swapping the frames from my old seats.

Anyone got any pictures they can get? Of the GTE frames? And the runners on the floor? Also of a normal 1300?

right i put sr/gte seats in my 4 door 13s so i didn't wreck the original ones and they went straight in no probs,,,,,,,,,,,,,

under the carpet you need to take the 4 13mm headed bolts out then the seats should slide out the back of the two runner sucured to the floor (might be abit of a pig to get out to start with) once you have finallly removed them just reverse the order that you took the old ones out bolt back down at the front under the carpet,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,JOB DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE THE SUB FRAMES JUST USE THE GTE ONE'S

HOPE THIS HELPS

THIS IS HOW I DONE MINE AND I HAD NO PROBS AT ALL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well, obviously I could have worked that one out. So I'm guessing I don't have standard GTE seats, or maybe they're mk2's or something.

Lee? Did you take them out of the car when you bought them?
Guess I'm going to take some pictures of the frames I have on mine then.
