the seats come on a sub frame yeah, then this bolts to the floor.

So, for ease of swap over take your std seats out on the frames.

I dont think Lee's seats had the fames fitted, so remove the ones on your std seats (4 bolts each corner) and stick them on the gte ones, then fit back into car.

Well I think I do need them. All I've got on the bottom of the GTE seats, are corner brackets (with runners), two front, and two back.
So if you can get a picture of these frames (try to show how the seat would bolt on), then I would deffo like them.

Cheers

I did'nt realise they was different subframes, and i burnt my 1.3 seats and scrapped the remains. I seem to recall somthing similar with my engine mounts. i need to keep everything till im finished from now on.

Dave from what you have said the frames on the new seats are the wrong ones. Gte subframes clip into the runners and then are bolted down at the front with those u clip thins and four 13mm bolts to each side/top and bottom. They sound like mk2 astra subframes that are on those seats.

All I know is they don't bolt onto anything. And I cant adapt the 1.3 seats to fit the GTE seats.

Can't find my digi camera so can't take pics myself! Skipp, G1C, you would be a massive help if you could get some pictures of your GTE frames, on seats, and on floor of car.

Dave
