i`ve never ever seen such a thing
gm did make a centre section about the length of the door that tied into a section attached to the rear quarter panel and the same at the front end of the sill it came as part of the pillar section but i have never actually seen one of these centre sections in real life and most mk1 astra parts & panels have passed through my hands at some point in the last 16 years
this is one panel i`m sad to say you will not find, pattern sills are your only route i`m afraid |

the pattern sills are a really good fit, but the rear quarter can warp when welding them on if your not careful. patern wings are ok but the gm wings arn't a really a perfect fit. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

this is what a genuine sill looks like i.e the area under the door as i was trying to describe
and funnily enough here is the first one i have ever seen for sale ever although as i said i have photo somewhere of this section welded onto a gte but i can`t seem to locate it as yet
it`s called a dorpel and costs 35 euros for the left hand side one

Just to make you all jealous then i found both sides for my GTE at Billing about 5-6 years ago, they were pristine and are now merrily holding my car together !!!
Im sure there must be more out there, the bloke i got them from didnt know what they were off but being an anorak i recognised them

any reason you don't want to fit pattern one's ???
they are a very good fit and if you get the full sills theres a lot more to work with were the originals don't have the the extra bits on either end .
Ive fitted them to my car and you would never know the difference
And there a lot cheaper !!! _________________ seek and ye shall find |

Hi mate
I've got both sides, bought them from Billing about 5 yaers ago when Opel Classic Parts came across for a couple of days.
Desided not to fit them in the end as my shell really needed full length sills to repair the lower 1/4 panels.
Surplus to requirements so up for grabs if needed, dont live to far from Birmingham either.
Cheer
