|
|
Any one got a part number for a front wishbone as i need to know whether they are different across the range.
i bought some for yus when i had it and the ebay listing said for mk1 / mk2 and wasnt engine specific,
ive tried to fit them to the colonel today and the rear bush is Waaaaayyyy to big, its bloody mahoosive compared to the 1.3 one.
Can anyone help with any part numbers as ebay sellers are listing them as the same throughout the range and my local motor factors only list one but obviously they are different (theres a thread from earlier this week where someone used the mk2 ones and they didnt fit) _________________ www.aquariushi.co.uk

Very much doubt you`ll get new mk1 ones but only difference is the rear bush.I tried for ages to get mk1 ones and ended up buying some from ebay with the mk2 bush.
You`ll need to get the clamps that bolt to the bottom of the car from a mk2 and make the two holes alittle longer.Did this on my estate and they fit fine now. |

You can take the rubber mount from the mk1 and stick them on the mk2 wishbones. That's what my brother done, soak in hot water to soften the glue and a fair bit of elbow grease and fighting they come off. |

I need some bottom arms for my van. Local motor factors say £50 each which I think is a little expensive, but they are for a MK1 _________________

powerflex make mk1 astra bottom arm bushs, just dont use the front bush as they can cut through the body. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

That's sound. It doesn't completely fit but it's so tight and once clamped it's going no where. Fairy Liquid is the godsend. |
