Does anyone knoww the part no. for this because A vauxhall garage owes me a favour and are searching for some but have got rid of the micro fiche and reader with the part info on...

I will have a look when i get home and put it up.

Even the lads in Germany can't get hold of them.
One chap has sent one to CHINA to be make a copy and is in the process of it being built now.
He should get it back in about 5-6 weeks and then road test if okay.
If they are good there will be a big bulk buy from Germany for them.

The chap who's doing them WILL also post them to the UK. so just hope he comes up trumps with it.

Isn't it absolutely ridiculous when it is easier to get parts for a Cresta than it is for an astra! grrrrr mad

Any will do i think but try the 1.6/1.8 one first.

As far as i know they are 100% Identical !
Maybe the 1.6-1.8 is a little bit stronger and stiffer !
Please let me know if there is any update to the top mounts deal !

Did the stut top turn up? I've called a few more people today but nothing at all. Found the thread on the German site, they seem to be properly looking into it but it looks like they going to have to fork out a bit to get them manufactured.
