no they require to make 2000 off ie 1000 pairs at £30 to £50 each,
ie an outlay of 60 to 100 thousand pounds or euro eek

maybe it would be easier for us to find out what other available model strut mount is easiest to convert our cars to and a proper step by step tutorial with decent photo's with printable templates in the hints and tips section. I'd offer to do it but we wouldn't want all our cars to be lopsided and bloody death traps! laughing

MK1 ones are specific to our car. All models are the same.

If anyone could find some they would make a killing as we can't find any.

You can't fit them from another car but there was some talk that Nova ones might fit?

nova ones fit (slight elongation of mount holes by 2.5mm) but the issue is that the bearing is seperate on the nova/corsa c, this is held in the spring cup not the top mount. Mk1 sprins are wider diameter than nova/corsa c, so you cant use the spring cups what you have to do is cut the bit off that holds the bearing in the nova one and weld it to th mk1 spring cup and like magic you can use nova /corsa/tigra top mount and bearings with your mk 1 astra uprights and springs big grin

laughing I've been searching through past posts because I remembered reading your post about these... Didn't think it was this post tho embarrassment

There is also the option of cutting out the strut top wleding in a MK2/Mk3 strut top and then being able to use these.

A bit of a major mod but I know one member on here has done this and used MK2 strut tops welded in to his mk1

That is a bit major especially since I just put my engine in and spent a good few pennies on the mk1 struts and spax. If anyone is going to cut out and replace the strut tops it would probabely be best to pick something newer that mk2 because the strut bearings for the mk2 will probabely be next on the extinct list. frown
