Well after much searching, I have finally got myself a 200x S14a.

Absolute minter except that there's no rear windscreen!!

Autowindscreens want nearly £500 to supply and fit so I am trying to find a cheaper option. I have found a Nissan Breakers Yard that has one for £60 +VAT and they are cutting it out of a car for me tomorrow. Does that mean then that it will still be bonded to the frame? If so how do I remove it, or do I leave it to whoever I find to fit it?

Any windscreen guys on here?

Just get the screen and then pop down the local window palce and get them to sort it out. Or speak to one of the nice men and get him to do it out of hours for a few quid big grin

Go to a bodyshop if you are stuck, they will fit it.

Or i would cheaply stick the window in, smash it and claim on the insurance, make sure you got window cover though big grin

It's a 98 car with FSH, unmarked condition. It's a Touring model so has A/C, leather, cd changer etc and books at £3750 and normally go for £3k to £3.5k

AS I said it needs a rear screen which may end up costing £300- £350 so what did I pay for it?

I went and picked it up tonight and had some fun on the way back round the roundabouts Very Happy
It's quick, but not stupidly so. It delivers the power through the auto box very smoothly and without fuss if you know what I mean. New rear screen is going in on Friday.
Very happy so far.

The best £1250 I've ever spent I reckon big grin big grin
