After just finding out there's a baby due i have to sell the GTE. I just wont have the time or money to keep up with it. so she has to go. there are lots of info on the site about the car but will get some recent pics up asap. there's MOT on till Nov 1st and tax till end of April only looking to get back close to £1500. hoping someone in the club can take it but will have try sell elswhere in a couple of weeks.

Can you give a little write up Dene on your opinion on the car seeing as you've given it the once over?
I'm sure potential buyers would appreciate it.

I do feel people should view this car if possible.
I dont want to start making negative comments on someones car but i do think it would be fairer to give a better description of the cars condition so people dont travel a long way to be disapointed .
After all it is going to be in need of an mot soon and it is going to need work/ welding which is to be expected. Also a water pump ( not an mot item ) as it is noisy as hell and not circulaiting coolant .

cool

Thought it needs a response. as with most cars on here they will probably all need some kind of work. like aparently a £20.00 water pump and a little t.l.c
if this car was 100% minter wouldnt be asking near £1500 but nearer £3000
im not a machanic so cant tell you eveything that might be wrong or going to be wrong with the car. i could M.O.T it but then would ask more i was giving someone the chance to be able to move the car before my insurance runs out and have to declare it sorn im not trying to pull a fast one.

MOT it mate and ask for more!

I spent £1250 in Gilfy and he's a piece of sh$t! I don;t think I could have got another one in similar nick much cheaper. At least he's all there - well parts wise. There's some metal missing obviously!

Tell you what.

Give it to me for free.

I'll MOT it and do what work needs doing, sell it and give you the £1500 and keep the rest!?

had mot last week and failed on welding. offside outersill seat belt anchorage.
nearside rear innersill.
nearside upper inner wing
if there is someone out there wanting to do the work themselves and take the car for £1200 if i was keeping it i would do the work but there seems no point if im trying to sell. the mot is still valid till 1st november thanks.
