Step 1 - Disconnect the battery. smile
Get the old bush out, but dont damage the metal collar.

Your left with an bush you need to cut away all the rubber. I cut it off with a hack saw then ran it on a wire wheel to clean off the ruff bits left over.

You should now have this-

Put the powerflex one in the bin. Then fit the 2 halfs of the bush in the arm.

Use a vice or whatever you have. use plenty of the powerflex lube(copper grease!) when fitting.

It should look like this, if it doesnt refer to step 1. Very Happy
.
Its ready to fit to the car.

The rear bush.
The 1.2 & 1.3 have different brackets to the 1.6 & 1.8. Powerflex only do the 1.6 & 1.8 size bush.
Below shows the 1.3 bracket with the mk1 powerflex bush.


Also make sure they dont sell you mk2 astra ones as they are compleatly different.
