I'm not sure why but a lad at work has sold me his motorbike and trailer cheap. I've done a bit of work on his car and this bike in the past but what a discount.

The bike is a 600 Bandit and the trailer fits 3 bikes and looks new.
How much did he want for it all?

€250 laughing Dancing

Now I just need to find a way to tell the wife i've bought a bike big grin

I've already stripped it down and its getting tarted up for summer.

Yes mate. Funny storey. I was sent to Canada for 4 months salut and while I was there I took the Canadian bike test (go around the block twice). Then transferred it to my UK licence when I was finished.
I bought a bike and went on a 5 day road trip through the Rocky Mountains.
Highly recommeded!

To be fair, I did a direct access course which was twice round a car park for the CBT and a jaunt around Aylesbury for half a day then the test!

Probably a bit more difficult now.

I'm not sure what the rules are in the UK but in Alberta Canada you don't need any lessons, just turn up and have a go. The tester quickly checks the bike over for safety then gives you a two way radio and earpiece (which kept falling out). The test cost $36 big grin

I just remembered that when I started the bike for the test, it was only running on one cylinder (500 twin) for some reason. It was gutless and kept stalling so I adjusted the throttle stop driving down the road. Then about 200 meters later it fired back up on 2 and it took off down the road laughing

They don't even have MOT's. Some insurance companies insist on safety inspections before they insure you but not many.
