|
|
Hi Folks.
Just bought this back from Holland. 3 Dr Car. Ideal for GTE Re build. Comes with Dutch Reg if needed. Also available pair of nearly new Wings. Decent Bonnet and O/S Arch repair panel. Needs some other repair work and the Bulkhead/Scuttle modifying. A very good basis though. Good Doors/Taigate. Was going to use it myself but having a massive clearout of Mk 2 Escorts, Nova Van and all sorts of Panels etc. Also have a Mk 2 GTE 8v for spares or repair.
Asking for offers £600 inc parts.

Car is located in Stourbridge, West Mids. I can deliver within reason.
I can e-mail more photos on request.
Thanks Nick. |

Hi Folks
I am going on holiday for a week on 2nd July so will not be dealing with the Car. I hope someone will be interested in this in a week or so. I thought someone would need a Shell but apparently not. Are Mk 1 Astras on their way out?????????
Thanks Nick. |

Is everybody broke, not interested or what. Seems its the same across all the Astra, Cav and Nove sites.
I know to quite a few 80's Vauxhall Cars and Parts all over Europe but looks like its stopping there. There is tons of rot free stuff in Spain.
I was importing but now its pointless. Suppose I'll have to give this away then leave the Mk 1 Club.
I'll concentrate on Mk 1 & 2 Escorts and other Retro Ford models. People are clammering for the stuff I bring back from Germany, Holland , Belgium and France. |

Not being funny mate but you're trying to sell a not exactly rot-free, left hand drive Kadett in a right hand drive country.
Not many people willing to bother with a bulkhead transfer on a car the also needs inner wings and rear arches.
If you can get parts from Europe then why not ask people what they're looking for and get those bits?
All the best with what ever you decide to do. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

I had a lhd kadett c 2dr that was a German car but spent its life in California, it was mint everywhere, no rot at all. Couldn't sell it over here. It's now in my unit getting rhd convertion.
The mk1s bulkhead is quite a lot of work. Keep it lhd turn into a mint gte and sell it back it Germany where they are worth decent money. _________________ [Click here to pay ransom to view photos] |

Doesnt need Inner Wings just repairs.
Floor, Sills, Doors, Tailgate VGC.
Comes with good Wings and Bonnet.
Ive actually owned many Retro Vauxhalls first time round seeings I,m an old git. I've been shell changing and repairing cars for 35 years. My second car which I bought in 1980 was a RS2000 Mk 1. I still own this car.
I also have a Spanish Mk 1 Gsi in good condition.
Dont pass comment on what you think the car looks like untill youve seen it.
Snotter sold for 3k ??????????????? Means nothing to me. !!!!!

Sold along with the Mk 2 GTE and a load of Nova parts to a Guy off PNG Nova Performance Group. Full asking prices given. He was very impressed with the condition of the Silver Mk 1. So thanks for all the comments and lack of interest. |
