Hi guys, just so you know i'm currently in Canada enjoying the weather and wont be able to do anything Mk1 related until May. Then its all systems go for Osch 2014.
However, it would be rude not to take advantage of the abundance of V8 powered cars, the exchange rate of 1.81:1, the fuel prices, 60p a litre and Alberta's shoddy MOT laws.
So i'm trying to organize a car at the moment that has more litres than horse power but thats the whole fun of it.
Anything I get is going to be seriously rough around the edges "no fucks given" type of thing but hey at least Sparko will like it. |

I've found someone selling two 77 Chevrolet Monza's, one with a 5 liter engine that I could throw together to hoon about in.
The only problem I have is how Vast Canada is. Its a 5 hour round trip for 1.
If I can find a beaver tail and dolly I could get them both at the same time. I like the idea of the monza as it has a 4 speed manual and LSD. Its also not a million miles away from Opel/Vauxhall so I should know what most things are.
This is a Monza

Those Monza wing mirrors are a little Englemann-esque! _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |
