Our second Kadett on the road. This is our 1980 four door saloon. My girlfriend is learning to drive in it and we're using it to tour where we live with visiting friends and family.

No, one's a four door saloon the others a two door hatch. Why concentrate your efforts on one car when you can spread them thinly across two, or more.

I know that feeling of spreading your efforts thinly on several cars _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |

They're growing on me too. I was a real 4 door snob for years, turned down loads of them when they were being scrapped. Ah well have a couple of donors to keep us going all the same. Girlfriend is now impessed when I disappear of to rummage through boxes and come back with bits and pieces for her car.
Getting to like the saloon boot too. Much easier to lift when you got shopping in one hand or another salvaged wing and you don't want to have to put it down on the ground. It's less likely to bite your forehead too. _________________ SpaceKadett wrapped in fibreglass. |

Have had lots of use out of this over the last couple of years. My fiancée passed her driving test in it and I even got to do a little to work in it this year. Time to do some preservation work on it now
Stripped out the interior to get a good look at it.

Same here, I drive a civic for daily, and have a Kadett D GTE, a 1.3 hatch and a 1.3 (ok 1.8 ) caravan. Love them all.
