£10k it should be concourse for that, TOTALLY original and less mileage, you should also be able to eat your dinner off the underside ! |

Paul I'm glad I amuse you chap
I just drive the f$$king things I'm not a mechanic which is why I said I honestly don't know if it's been welded, not sure why you are banging on about does it need welding!?
I'm taking delivery in a couple of weeks so I'll be sure to give you a full report on the welding situation!
Enough of the small talk where can I buy the 'concourse' GTE for 10g's??
The CASH is waiting pal but I suspect you haven't got a clue what you are talking about!!!!!!!!! |

Basically mate, you've found a fairly modified GTE from somewhere and for some reason think that just because there's only a few left it's worth the same as a mint, and I mean mint, showroom example. Then when your challenged on it, you have no idea what condition it really is. It could be, and probably is, a tea-bag like mine was.
You'd do well to at least put it back to standard before you try and really sell it.
You also need to get the carpet and underlay up as well as carefully pealing back the lower bulkhead padding.
Just look at mine on the very first page of my build thread. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."
And this is why, my GTE restoration thread: http://www.mk1oc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16119 |

DeadEye good to hear from you boss
I keep getting told by Paul/ you that the £10k I want for my 'teabag' GTE is to much and that if I'm pricing it at 10g's it should be showroom
I get that but nobody has got a 'factory new' GTE for sale and I'm offering 10g's plus a £500 finders fee, am I missing something here??
Paul do you actually own a GTE because you seem a little out of touch with your prices dude!?
DeadEye are you going to sell me one of your bad boys or what!?
Paul if you want to join the GTE club I'll let you have my beauty at mates rates 8k chap |
