Hi just bought a gte & the drivers & passenger widow rubbers are knacked. Anyone have any spare ?

Thanks had a look & couldn't see anything. You have a link ? It's the rubber weather strip on top of door that stops the glass getting scraped & stop water entering door.

You can get new non GTE rubbers but not GTE one's as they have a metal trim in them.

East Kent trim supply these there a bit tricky to fit but they look good and do the job there supposed to do . I got a set last year for my GTE from them .

They are similar in shape and even fit the same way only thing you have to do is trim to size as they come over length . I even got them to fit onto the old GTE clips inside the door . When you cant get genuine one these are next best thing .Here is a picture how mine fitted .

I'll take anything just now. As the cars needs tidying but the weather strips are really letting the car down ATM. I'am going to look for something similar & cut them if I have to. Only option.

I don't have a photo's of a GTE one but that trim is for a standard model.

That's not the standard trim in that picture standard trim is U shaped and GTE trim is like a T profile I sent over a sample of the window rubbers from the GTE and they sent me back the same profile it fits around the trim on the door

Look spot on. Are these from east Kent trimmers ? I spoke to Steve from there today & have some on there way. Very nice & helpful.
