After a loooong journey (left 4pm and got home 3am!) And £800 lighter, I picked it up, it is in pretty good condition. Will get photos up shortly,

Dont have any plans for it apart from get it running and a bit of a tidy up. Possibly slam it and a nice set of wheels,

Well done mate. I was looking in to that but seller wouldnt budge much on price. (Also had just bought 2 and payday wasnt sooner) looked a good car. Good luck with it.

Thanks, I bought it due to it being same colour as my other one in 5 door, I havent seen any in that colour until now and hopefully to stop it being used as a reshell.

I agree. Keeping it original is the way to go. The 3-door GL's were always bit of a rarity. More so in that colour. It was more common on Opel Kadet's than Astra's. You need a nice set of the OEM alloys to finish it off.

Origional is the way forward i think. Reps and mod are not to everyones taste

Well I fired it up first time up 10 years, it runs lovely,

Brakes and rubber lines need overhaul amd few patches of welding then mot,

Glad its staying kind of original. Love the colour and ive got the exact door cards in my kadett, which came from a car the same colour. (this is the only colour you can get black interior!)

Not quite, my V plate Sapphire Blue GL had a black interior.
