right pvs has filled my head with a load of fresh new idea`s idea!

which will ultimately cost me mega bucks to put into practice and will also cost me another gte into the process i think.my dilema is i want a blinging mint mk1 gte as you all already know but now i want it mega mint i.e as nice as that corsa on the best of club stand with mirrors under it showing how mint the underneath is aswell, now what engine should i go for in this should i go the completely standard route or should i go the subtly modded route as i think the 18e engine doesn`t look as astheticly pleasing as a nice blinging chromed xe or let engine.power isn`t my issue it`s attention to detail i`m wanting.i know this will take yonks and yonks to carry out but it`s what i want hence why i`ll need another gte to play with as i wouldn`t drive the show car i`d tow it down to shows on a dolly with my play gte.am i going nuts or is the mk1 world crying out for an out and out minter with a shiny painted floor and every nook and cranny being mint and should i go for a standard colour or a fresh new idea,i enjoy a challenge and this certainly would keep me entertained in the garage for many moons to come.

If you're going for bling and the wow factor then I would suggest non standard.

Don't go overboard but a freshly painted XE with Bailey header tanks, samco hoses etc (see pic) will look the nuts as would a non standard body colour covering the WHOLE shell, undercarriage etc.

yes that`s the sort of engine bay i`d like i.e very pleasing to the eye.
