firstly this happened to my 5 door gte when a woman backed into it:-

now to top it off after i fixed that this and it was only on the road for half hour:-

no wonder mk1's are so rare we have a mk1oc and they must have a haters club?
anyway off to my mate steve's first thing tomorrow to have it looked at!

it's took the inner wing, fitch, front valance, slam panel, wing, bonnet, headlight, indicator, grille, blanking plates roof, a pillar etc etc!!!

Im sorry about your car mate . I agree there must be an anti mark 1 group out there !!!! Thats exactly what happened to me and they drove off so i could only claim off my own insurance mad

Well i took my car over to my mates accident/ :Drepair garage at 9 o'clock this morning and have just this second got back!
we took drivers side headlight, indicator out, bonnet came off along with what was left of the bumper, then coil, washer bottle etc so that all the passenger side was clear.
then after alot of pulling and clamping pulled the front end back out.
next came the job of the roof which was done by putting it on a dozer and one good pull it came straight no problems at all to my delight.
i'll keep you posted of how it's coming along step by step.
to my relief he owed me a favour so todays work on my car hasnt cost me a penny! big grin
