Ladies and Gents

This information should give you all the information you require for the VBOA National Rally 2006 at Billing Aquadrome 8th and 9th July.

For those that don’t know or haven’t been Billing is a fully facilitated and functional campsite and therefore has brick shower blocks with hot showers, toilet blocks, and washing facilities, as well as first aid, a shop and some entertainments and as an Aquadrome they do have some water sports!!

The cost of entering the show is £10 per night, this is per car and per tent/pitch camping and is payable on entering Billing. This is a reduced rate for the VBOA Rally entrants only as the normal rate is £15 per night. If you are not camping but simply coming to the show and staying locally or living locally the cost is the same £10 per day.

I will be going down on the Friday night with the plan to get there around 7-8pm. We can sort out meeting points closer to the time.

All vehicle passes will be handed out at the show when we meet up or when you arrive at the gate (ring me or glenn for this one). If you can let us know when you are going down that would be good.

The vehicle pass has to be stuck to the top right hand corner of your windscreen (not obscured by any tint) in order for you to get the £5 discount on the camping rate, if it is not in the windscreen then you will not get the discount or shown to the right area.

Competitions – We will be handing out voting forms to all and giving out awards for the following. More to be added:

Best MK1
Best Modifiication
Best Sound System
Last Man Standing Drinking Award
Might have a special Best Tatty MK1 (Just for Jason)

All votes will need to be handed to me before 11am on the Sunday, see below why.

Our prize giving for the winners will be held at approx 2.30 pm on the Sunday of the show.

Litter – when you enter Billing you will be handed (or should) a black bin liner by the person on the gate who you pay to enter. This is for your litter, not the ground, the hedge or to be left all over the place, the crap you put in the sack. At the end of the show when you leave PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR LITTER IS IN A BIG BIN OR LEFT NEXT TO IT IF THE BIN IS FULL.

Noise – billing is a family campsite, therefore you wont be the only people there, others with children although maybe not with MK1OC will be there, so please make sure your music is turned off by 11pm. If it isn’t then you will be asked too, and to keep the noise to a minimum. Like the litter issue, if I receive any reports of bad behaviour which has caused inconvenience to other members or others at billing you wont be welcome in 2007.

Things to remember please - sunblock, food, drink, bottles for water if the sun is very hot



We are not allowed to enter a car into the chairmans cup this year guys,a s we are not official vboa members yet. But can do next year when we are official.
