well mate the dvla adverts on the tv say dont buy it if it hasnt got a log book , and i am thinking the same as you mate , that it is illegal , but im sure someone will correct us if we are wrong laughing

its not illegal to sell without a V5, but its all upto the seller to change the details it they are in his/her name.
