As most of you all know this was how my mk1 used to look beofre i took it off the road thinking for 12 months to get some welding done on the inner arches and paint the engine bay. That was May '99
Then came the stipdown and bad news followed. rusty inners and at £120 an inner side quoted in 99 i started to look for another shell, and stripped everything off my old one.

It took me over 3 years to find a good shell, and this one came up locally to me from a mate who needed to move it as his boss wanted it out of the way and he had nowhere to store it!

Lots of time and messing around in the garage has got me to this stage now. More is on the cards as i'm trying to sort out paint and welding soon to get it finally ready to give some beans in it!

I have managed to get some more done to the car now. It's painted and it is now time to put all the stuff back on the car.(which i thought i'd never get round to.)

Trial Fitting the 288mm discs on to the hub/Calipers. Also Front Leg setup with -60mm springs.

I now have the rear suspension fitted -60mm springs and Spax PSX adjustables for it and also fitted the front struts too.
