Right guys after very careful thoughts i have decided to let mine go.
As i am very busy with my new house at the moment, and she just isnt being used, and i think its criminal of me to keep her locked in the garage.
Most of you know the spec, and its a beatiful car that gets alot of attenetion where ever you are. (had people flocking around it all day at Pod.)
Its 272bhp and very very quick, scoobys are no problem to this car.
Mk1 astra GTE, A reg
272bhp 2ltr let engine worked by courtney
pace charge cooler
Fse boost valve
courtney high torque cams
Dump valve
low temp thorsmstat
Quaffe ATB limited slip diff
Courtney highbrid clucth
Car spent 5 months in the bodyshop about a year and a bit ago, and had the whole works done, new rear arches, new front wings, and a full respray in vauxhall antiga blue with a custom dark tint.Mk3 gsi bonnet vents
Single wiper conversion
lowerd
Spax suspension
Oz 17" wheels
Mk2 disks all round including the rear.
Braided front brake hoses.
full custom exhaust.
Full leather interior retrimed about a year ago, (front mk2 champion seats)
Euro centre console (very very rare)
custom dash (gauges where radio should be, and boost gauage where clock should be)
Nova dash clocks (just make it a bit more modern)
mint carpets through out
custom headlining (puka)
xenon headlight conversion
sports steering wheel
Sound system also incduled:
Custom speaker pods in foot wells with speaker in
Tweeters behind air vents (looks wicked)
rear speakers in orginal place
JBL 12" sub
Alpine V12 amp
Earthquake Amp
(theres loads more, but i've hit a mental block at the min.)
This car has to be seen to be appricated, its been in the club for its last 3 owners that i know of, and it shows.
I would like to keep it in the club as i feel it is an asset, and if your not a full member i'll pay for you to sign up.
Shes mot'd till sep, and taxed for about 4 months, i know thats not a massive amount of mot, but i cant see her failing on any thing major, or at all. and i would like someone to use her while summers still here.
Shes always been garaged since i've owned her and never driven in the wet. Shes insured to the agreed value of £7500, and i have a certicate to prove.
Featured in Total Vauxhall, Men and motors, and will soon be in retro cars, and if your quick your'll be the owner when its published.
Looking for offers around £5000, serious people only please

Sorry to hear that you're selling 'my' baby already mate Ebay it and I'm sure you'll get the asking price as I had successful bids when I was selling it last year) It would be nice for the car to stay in the club though.
If anyone needs any extra info on the car just ask me as I had all of the bodywork done, re spray and the headlining and interior re trim and xenons and re wiring of dash, audio system etc etc etc.
Chavs need not apply!!! _________________

Cheers lee, as lee says he had most of the work done, and he was as fussy as i am over the car.
Chavs can apply if they've got loads of money, but no test drives will be had untill i have the 5k in my hand...... _________________

Go on then Gary, I'll swap you........
Seriously dude, I am well gutted for you.
I hope you get everything sorted out and get back into Mk1 ownership soon enough.
This is a beauty of a car and as it's been said is a credit to the club. _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

Mine's probably gonna be put up for sale shortly, its due am mot at the start of next month and it is gonna need a new rear inner corner repair panel to get it through and the rest of the shell is mint as it was fully overhauled body wise about 5-6 years ago. Gonna be up for around the £2.5k mark. Pretty much a one off with all the irmscher stuff on it. Most of you have seen it but if anyone wants any more info on it then drop me a pm.
I can't rip it apart to build something with my own ideas cause its so original (all parts removed have ben kept even down to the hot cross bun rims) so I will probs start from scratch with another and maybe get myself a jap toy for the short term. _________________

Cheers gezzers, i'm not selling due to money problems etc, i'm selling because i just dont have the time to use her enough to worrent the insurance money etc each month. And because i have the astra as i fun car i have to have a shed of an escort as a daily driver.
I'm not desprete to sell, but i just think someone else should have the pleasure of owning her, rather then me having her locked in the garage. _________________
