I had a chassis leg put on NGK, when it made a horrible clonking noise after bouncing round the field at Santa Pod.

I got a spare chassis leg from a place in Leeds, and a garage near MK (Elite Carbody, I think) fixed it for me.

Didn't cost more that £300 all in, but it was running a standard engine then, and didn't need any strengthening work.

Cheers,

Clive.

The chassis leg is fine, its just where the wishbone mount meets the chassis leg, it just looks like its ripped a few spot welds off.

Might as well get the engine out and get it all done properly Lee, but seeing as it doesn't seem so bad (according to description) then you can knock off a few hundred. Just get a lower strut brace as well

If it has only come away by pulling the spot welds and pulling the metal slightly it can be put back in place easy, shouldnt have to take the engine out for it and could even weld the other side up solid too while at it.
I would say it could be done easy in a day, Any chance of some pics of the mount Gary.

I was just suggesting engine out so it can be welded all over the place and the respray can be done... plus maybe any other little bit that might need attention

Here is the pic of the damage and should be an easy repair without dismantleing anything, just get the portapress in and a couple of ratchet straps to get it back in place and weld it up and do the other side at the same time, I would say I could do it all well easy in half a day and all painted up so dont let any garages rip you off saying it needs more.
It's an easy fix in my opinion. Very Happy
