Got my front suspension built and ready to go on with the brakes all built up (cheers skipp for the calipers). And rear axle all painted and geting new shoes and pads for the rear brakes tomorrow.
Someone told me what offset is best for 17" alloys not to rub if they can let me know, already got the alloys but not sure of the offset.

The best offset is as close to ET49 as you can get. With ET40 or similar you will have to cut or roll the lip off the arch. I'm running 17's ET44 with arch mod's and they are fine.
I tried ET40 without arch mods and they scrubbed badly

Cheers lee, Is there anyway of mesureing my offset or will i have to get in touch with tsw.
and as for brakes i think the bigest without problems is calibra/cavalier turbo or v6 brakes which are 286mm i think but somone might be able to confirm.

If you've got TSW wheels it should be stamped on the back of one of your spokes or under the centre cap depending what wheels you have. If they're older TSW wheels they're most likely ET42.
Biggest straight swap Vx brakes are the 256mm off GTE's etc, but they can be found on Vectras, Cav's and Calibras also. The newer range of brakes can be fitted like the 288 2ltr+ Vectra B brakes with 4 stud disks from LMF or even the new 300mm Vectra C V6 can be bullied into fitting
