I know I have been down this route before, but this time it's mroe about personal choice rather than having to sell.

Well you all pretty much know my car on here.

See my personal gallery for pics.

It comes with everything to take it back to standard bar the standard engine, but why the hell would you...wink

It's spec is as follows.

Good Bits:-
Mk1 Astra GTE - White
All round Koni Adjustable Suspension
Current print outs for 265bhp for the eninge (See TurboTom about the engine because I haven't had any money to get it on the rollers)
I have a Pace Charge Cooler to go with the car, the radiator for the charge cooler is in, it just needs the chargecooler itself to be plumbed in.
Full Powerflow 3" straight through stainless exhaust, only a year old (Cost £280 cash)
It has good tyres all round and TSW 17"alloys.
It comes with a fully rebuilt F28 (receipts for £2000 on total rebuild)
It is currently running a nearly factory new F16CR, because it's fookin brutal to put it mildly, it's now suffering slightly and will need replacing imminentley, kicks outta 3rd and crunches from 1st to 2nd.
Digi Dash
Uprated front brakes (Mk2 ATE) although these currently belong to Chris H on here...(don't worry dude I'll get some more 4 u wink ) back ones are standard drums, because despit what ppl may say, they are good enough for the job, but if you so wish I have a Mk3 Gsi rear beam that I can throw in with the deal, in fact I'd prefer to because I won't have room for it.
Absolutely Mint tailgate. and I mean mint.

Right as with every car they are not so good bits, if you wanted a show car, then don't bother buying mine. It's been made to go fast, not look pretty....to make it look pretty would take a full respray, it just doesn't need it, trust me.

On acceleration and deceleration there is a knocking from the passenger side suspension leg....don't worry, it's because it has Mk2 Konis up front, to stop this you need to replace the fronts with Mk1 suspension....which I have, basically the nipple on the bottom of the shocker will have worn down and therefore it jumps slightly with all the power going through the wheels.

It is very solid, and along them lines, any inspection is encouraged....and actually welcomed because if nothing else it gives you an excuse to come for a beer with me, and for me to actually look like I have friends...laughing

Ok now the grubby bits, it needs a good going over really, these are things that I have opted not to do because of my financial constraints.

It needs a new passenger floorpan, or it could be patched up, but the pans are only £15 each so why bother patching. It's only a small hole but it needs doing never the less. The sunroof inside is badgered, it needs to come out and that was my intention to be honest, so don't expect to look up and see a nice roof lining, because there isn't one.

The rear quarter bottom where the side skirt has been is a little mushy underneath the skirt, but it's hidden by the sideskirt, so if you wanted to wait to get it done then it's not obvious, and I won't tell anyone on here...I promise laughing Inner wings, all other bits that I have not mentioned are absolutley solid.

Overall it's solid underneath, it needs a little cosmetic work but I now find myself with other priorities more pressing than the car.

Now then down to price....

With everything thrown in, and I have a garage full of Mk1 stuff (dashes etc...can't list everything, too much), I am looking for £3000 for the car and bits. If you are just wanting a standard GTE then I can arrange to get it back to standard, but due to my current circumstances I'd prefer it to go in one lot as is, I am running out of room at home now. You are getting a stonking Mk1, loads and loads of parts and the potential for sub 13 second 1/4's with this engine...I just never had the money or time to do this.

I love to see someone else pick up where I left off....please make this the fastest Mk1 on the board.....although the competition is about as stiff as it gets to be fair.

I have described this car, absolutely warts an all, partly because I am a nice guy and secondly because I intend on sticking around here even though I will be Mk1'less for a while...

You go and buy a quicker car anywhere for that money...wink

This thing leaves Scoobies, Evo's and every other Hot hatch wondering what the fook just hit em.....trust me, you won't be dissapointed.

Sorry for the blurred pics.....I am sure you can find better ones on here though, check out my gallery.

£2700.....

It's getting close to breaking and returning to standard time.

Watch this space, might have a C20LET for sale soon with fully rebuilt F28 with recepits for £2000 on the box alone.

eyyyyooop, I never quoted myself before....laughing

I might try Mig, but to be honest I don't want it not being appreciated....It's not used to it and she'd get scared.... Shocked paranoid

I don't need to sell it, I just want to for the time being, I am more than sure I will probably buy another one in time.

Yeah I think I might Ebay it...

That means I would have to go out and take loads and loads of pictures of all the stuff.

Ok then next week then, it's ebay-tastic.

I did?

It's probably because last time I thought I had to sell it and sorted a few things out, this time I don't have to....I want to.

Need a change.

You not sold the Ascona yet?
