JUST LIKE TO SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE IN THE MARK ONE WORLD I HAD ONE 10 YEARS AGO AND ALWAYS REGERT SELLING IT NOW LOOKING AT GETTING ANOTHER THEY REALLY ARE CLASSIC CARS IVE HAD 3 MARK 2 16V'ERS BUT THEY JUST ARENT THE SAME IN THE HANDLING DEPARTMENT OR LOOKS AS THE GOOD OLD MARK ONE U WILL SOON SEE ME DRIVING ONE JUST GOTTA FIND ONE THATS THE HARD BIT WILLINGTO SPEND MONEY GETTING IT A1 CHEERS GUYS AND GIRLS

be prepared to travel mate i`ve bought mk1`s in essex and london aswell as locally and i live in scotland and i`ve even travelled as far as southampton to try and find the right one.club members who live near cars are sometimes able to help assist you with condition reports etc prior to travelling but they are thin on the ground so be prepared to travel m8.good luck Very Happy

Aye a good Mk1 is pretty hard to find these days.

Club member called GT was selling a black one that was in very good condition, it has sold to him by another club member. I'm not sure if he's still selling it but it's worth a try, you can see his location on the link I have highlighted for you.

Yeah, they are alot of fun, hassling much newer motors, they just seem to pull hard up to at least 90 (on a private road honest officer) with the rest being a bit slower but not by a large amount

Was on the south coast for the past few days (glad I didn't take the GTE as some get didn't move over, I had to swerve n got a gouge in the tyre on the Mk4 for thanks)
